T.I.’s team exclusively told Billboard on Monday (Nov. 16) that the Atlanta rapper has a battle in the works with a different, unnamed opponent. After Tip publicly turned down Busta Rhymes’ offer, Busta said he’d be down to throw it down against Eminem, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z.
Kid Cudi recently made it known on Twitter that he’s waiting for Kendrick Lamar’s “Verzuz” because “he’s got a f—in legendary discography,” but the 36-year-old rapper didn’t name K-Dot’s opponent in the fantasy battle. But a fantasy girl group edition of the popular social media showdown series started by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland could be possible after Xscape’s Tamika Scott wrote on Instagram in July that she’d already confirmed with SWV and TLC’s T-Boz that they’d be willing to do it.
