Our 90s dreams have become a reality!
After rumors began swirling about a potential collaboration, Britney Spears confirmed on Friday (Dec. 11) that she teamed up with the Backstreet Boys for the sultry “Matches.” The pop crossover appears on Spears’ just-released deluxe edition of her 2016 album, Glory.
“What a GLORIOUS day it is… we’ve been asked about the possibility of a collab like this for the past 20 years and today is the day!!” the boy band wrote on Twitter. “#BritneyXBackstreet is finally here!”
The pop princess shared the sentiment. “I’m so excited to hear what you think about our song together,” she tweeted.
Glory’s deluxe issue also features four remixes of Spears’ “Mood Ring.” Listen to “Matches” in the new Glory edition below.
