After a potential exposure to COVID-19, Leslie Odom Jr. is doing his best to keep his family safe.
The Hamilton star joined Ellen DeGeneres in person on her talk show just one day before the host tested positive for the coronavirus. While appearing virtually on Today with Hoda & Jenna on Friday (Dec. 18), Odom shared that he’s staying away from his pregnant wife Nicolette Robinson.
“First and foremost, I hope Ellen is well, I haven’t spoken to her, obviously I hope she’s doing okay,” he said, before adding, “We’re getting our tests every day for the next 10 days, and quarantining from each other.”
“The virus can affect pregnant ladies differently, so anywhere, we’re doing our best,” the actor continued. “I’ve got my mask in the house. You know, I’m double-masking in the house.”
DeGeneres announced her COVID-19 diagnosis on Dec. 10, revealing that “fortunately [she’s] feeling fine right now.” Almost a week later, she updated her followers, sharing that thankfully she’s feeling “100 percent” despite some “excruciating back pain.”
