The finale of The Masked Singer drew the show’s biggest Wednesday audience of the season, helping Fox lead primetime in both total viewers and adults 18-49. CBS’ lineup, anchored by the Amazing Race finale, also drew season highs in viewers. The Masked Singer drew 7.41 million viewers and a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49.
Outside of an NFL-aided episode on Thanksgiving, the finale scored its largest total audience and second best 18-49 rating of the season. A recap of the season that aired before the finale finished second in primetime in both measures (5.44 million viewers, 1.3 in 18-49). At CBS, The Amazing Race scored a 0.8 in adults 18-49 and 4.46 million viewers, both season highs. SEAL Team (4.48 million) and SWAT (4.06 million) both hit highs in total viewers while scoring 0.5s in the 18-49 demo.
ABC’s For Life also delivered its best same-day viewer tally of the season (2.26 million) and was even in adults 18-49 at 0.4. The Great Christmas Light Fight (3.69 million viewers, 0.7 in 18-49) matched last week’s demo rating but came down a little in total viewers.
