Powered by the success of her new LP Evermore, Taylor Swift commands four of Billboard’s songwriters charts (dated Dec. 26).
Swift returns to No. 1 on the Hot 100 Songwriters chart, thanks to 15 songwriting credits on the Billboard Hot 100, encompassing every track on the standard edition of Evermore.

Swift concurrently hits No. 1 on the Country Songwriters chart for the first time, thanks to her self-penned “No Body, No Crime” (new at No. 2 on Hot Country Songs) and “Betty” (No. 46), the latter from her prior album Folklore. She also returns to No. 1 on Rock & Alternative Songwriters for an 11th week on top and Alternative Songwriters for a 10th week in charge.
Notably, Swift becomes the first artist to rule the Hot 100, Country, Rock & Alternative and Alternative Songwriters charts simultaneously.
Aaron Dessner co-wrote 11 of the 15 tracks on Evermore, sparking his No. 3 rank on Hot 100 Songwriters. He places at No. 2 on both the Rock & Alternative Songwriters and Alternative Songwriters charts.
Dessner, meanwhile, commands three of Billboard’s producer charts. He returns to No. 1 on the all-encompassing Hot 100 Producers ranking for a third total week on top, as he produced 14 of the 15 tracks on Evermore (all those listed above except “Gold Rush,” which Swift and Jack Antonoff produced).
Dessner also returns to No. 1 on Rock & Alternative Producers for a 10th week in the lead and Alternative Producers for a seventh week out in front.
Evermore debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 329,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The album earns Swift her eighth No. 1 and second of 2020, after Folklore in August.
The weekly Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot 100; plus, genre-based songwriter and producer charts follow the same methodology based on corresponding “Hot”-named genre charts. As with Billboard’s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
