Lil Dicky’s 2015 studio album Professional Rapper spends a landmark 100th week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Comedy Albums chart (dated Jan. 9), becoming the first title to reach the milestone dating to the survey’s 2004 launch.
Professional Rapper hits the triple-digit mark with nearly 1,500 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending Dec. 31, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Here’s a look at the top 10 longest-reigning albums in the 16-year-plus history of Comedy Albums. (The chart was based on pure album sales from its October 2004 inception through January 2020, when it switched to a consumption-based methodology that ranks titles by equivalent album units, mirroring the formula used for the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart.)

Professional Rapper debuted at No. 1 on Comedy Albums, No. 2 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 7 on the Billboard 200 dated Aug. 22, 2015. In the 2020 calendar year, the set spent all but 10 weeks atop Comedy Albums, including 25 consecutively (Jan. 18-July 4).
The LP is also tied with The Essential “Weird Al” Yankovic for the most weeks spent on the chart overall, with 130 to date. (They should continue to share the mark for the foreseeable future, with Yankovic’s best-of set at No. 4 this week.)
Lil Dicky has additionally scored three entries on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. “Freaky Friday,” featuring Chris Brown, reached No. 8 in 2018, “Earth” hit No. 17 in 2019 and “$ave Dat Money,” featuring Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan, peaked at No. 71 in 2015.
