Kings of Leon will be releasing their eighth studio album When You See Yourself on March 5, 2021, via RCA.
And the Followill family is peeling back the curtain of what’s to come by releasing the music video for their single “The Bandit” on Thursday (Jan. 7). The fuzzy black-and-white visual showcases the four-man band performing the song live in an empty set. They also released a second single today titled “100,000 People.”
Kings of Leon teased “The Bandit,” which was labeled as “Must Catch the Bandit,” as well as “Feel the Way You Do,” “Dancing in Your Head” and “Spin It Like We Can” on New Year’s Day to signal the Tennessee quartet’s first new music in about nine months. “Going Nowhere” arrived in late March at the beginning of lockdown with another accompanying black-and-white visual, which starred frontman Caleb Followill sitting with a guitar as he belted out the ballad in an empty room.
The band released their last studio album, Walls, in 2016, which earned the act its first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Their seventh set was led by the No. 1 single “Waste a Moment,” which topped Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart.
