Dolly Parton is helping people get fit. She is featured as part of the new Time to Walk series, described as an “audio walking experience,” on Apple Watch for Fitness+ subscribers. The icon shares stories from her life with listeners for the duration of a 25-40 minute walk.
Dolly said, “I’ve loved walking ever since I was a little girl in the Smoky Mountains. I think it’s so important to be able to get out and walk if we can during this time. I do my best thinking when I walk. And while many of us feel confined during this time, I’m hopeful that people will take a walk down memory lane with me and we can all feel a little more freedom taking the time to walk together.”
Sounds Like Nashville reports that the episodes also feature photos and a curated playlist of motivational songs. New episodes will be released each Monday through the end of April.
Other celebrities featured on Time to Walk include NBA player Draymond Green, pop star Shawn Mendes and actress Uzo Aduba.
