Selena Gomez continues to gift fans with new “De Una Vez” content and this time, she dropped an official lyric video.
The song’s lyrics, written in a glowing light pink cursive font, are displayed on top of scenes from the music video, such as the bed with silk covers and the beaming pink heart that she carries on her chest throughout the official clip. The lyrics can also be read in English at the bottom of the video.
In the rhythmic pop tune with hints of urban music, which was produced by Tainy, Albert Hype, Jota Rosa, and Neon16, Gomez opens up about healing from a previous relationship and discovering her self-worth. “Ya no duele como antes, no / La herida de tu amor sanó,” she kicks off the track.
“I am incredibly proud of my Latin background,” Gomez said about her new single in a statement. “It felt empowering to sing in Spanish again and ‘De Una Vez’ is such a beautiful love anthem.”
“De Una Vez” marks Gomez’s second Spanish-language track since “Un Año Sin Lluvia” in 2010.
