Time is a flat loop, there is no end or no beginning and we are all just floating in space. That’s the only way to react to a video Britney Spears posted on Wednesday (Jan. 27) in which she dances to… wait for it… Justin Timberlake.
Yup, Brit, 39, lets it fly in the Insta clip where she’s rocking a crop-top black turtleneck and plaid shorts as she spins around barefoot in her living room to “Holy Grail,” the 2013 Jay-Z single featuring Spears’ former flame JT.
“Danced in my black neck last week to HOLY GRAIL !!!! I KNOW … turtle necks are SO ME ♀️✨ !!!! @justintimberlake,” Britney captioned the clip, in which she executes some graceful spins, booty shakes, body rolls and lots of dramatic hand gestures.
You might recall that Spears and Timberlake were the pop’s reigning king and queen for three years before their 2002 break-up and last April she raised eyebrows when she posted a dance video to his 2018 Man of the Woods song “Filthy.”
And she wasn’t done, either. After a quick change of outfit into a different pair of plaid short-shorts and a frilly white half-shirt, Brit gave the camera her best stank face as she twirled and rolled her neck to J Balvin and Willy William’s “Mi Gente.”
Britney’s ongoing court battle with her father to reclaim control of her life and escape her 12-year conservatorship in an upcoming episode of The New York Times Presents entitled “Framing Britney Spears. The FX docuseries will explore the singer’s tangled legal drama in the show slated to air on Feb. 5 on FX and FX on Hulu.
