Iann Dior knows something about living a life “higher” in the charts. The Puerto Rican-born American rapper and singer joined forces with San Francisco teen 24kgoldn on “Mood,” one of the biggest hits of 2020 which hit No. 1 in the U.S. and U.K.
Next up, Dior teams with British electronic music hitmakers Clean Bandit on “Higher,” a fresh and breezy midtempo tune.
On it, he sings, “Nothing matters at all when I see you with your eyes on me I’m higher, higher, higher.”
“Higher” was written with Bastille’s Dan Smith, who also performs backing vocals, and will get more ears and eyeballs on it when the official music video drops Friday morning. Shaggy reportedly appears in the clip, which was shot in Jamaica.
“Higher” is the second track from Clean Bandit’s upcoming third studio album, due out in 2021.
