Bad Bunny and Tainy each extend their reigns, and hit notable milestones, on Billboard’s Latin songwriter and producer charts (dated April 17).
Bad Bunny spends a record-extending 60th week at No. 1 on Latin Songwriters, while Tainy tallies a record-padding 75th week atop Latin Producers.
The former earns the honor thanks to five songwriting credits on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
Here’s a recap of Bad Bunny’s haul on the latest Hot Latin Songs survey:
Rank, Artist Billing, Title (songwriters in addition to Bad Bunny)
No. 1, Bad Bunny & Jhay Cortez, “Dakiti” (Mora, Tainy, Jhay Cortez, Nydia Laner, Egbert Haze Rosa)
No. 3, Bad Bunny & Rosalia, “La Noche de Anoche” (Chris Jeday, Gaby Music, Rosalia, Jose E. Ortiz Rivera)
No. 21, Bad Bunny, “Te Mudaste” (Mora, MAG, Mr. Naisgai, Caleb Calloway)
No. 31, Bad Bunny, “Booker T” (MAG, Booker T. Jones)
No. 46, Bad Bunny, “Haciendo Que Me Amas” (MAG)
Dating to the launch of Billboard’s songwriter charts in June 2019, Bad Bunny joins Kirk Franklin as the only talents to spend at least 60 weeks at No. 1 on any such ranking. Franklin has posted 75 weeks atop Gospel Songwriters.
Bad Bunny has ruled Latin Songwriters for all but three weeks in 2021; Ozuna led on Feb. 6, followed by Edgar Barrera (March 20) and Tainy (March 27).
Tainy, meanwhile, adds his 75th week at No. 1 on Latin Producers on the strength of six production credits on Hot Latin Songs, including the top two titles.
Here’s a rundown:
Rank, Artist Billing, Title (producers in addition to Tainy)
No. 1, Bad Bunny & Jhay Cortez, “Dakiti” (Mora)
No. 2, Kali Uchis, “Telepatía” (Manuel Lara, Albert Hype)
No. 10, Selena Gomez & Rauw Alejandro, “Baila Conmigo” (Albert Hype, Jeta Rosa)

Tainy is the first to reach the 75-week milestone atop any Billboard producer chart.
The weekly Latin Songwriters and Latin Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot Latin Songs chart. As with Billboard’s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
