The 2021 Latin American Music Awards are officially a day away, where Karol G and J Balvin, with nine nominations each, lead the pack.
Confirmed for the sixth annual ceremony is a wave of artists such as Juanes, Anitta, Maluma, Camilo, Ricky Martin, Carlos Vives, Banda MS, David Bisbal, Carrie Underwood, and Pitbull, to name a few.
Country singer Underwood will join Spanish crooner Bisbal for their first-ever television performance of “Tears of Gold”; Ricky and Carlos Vives, as well as Ziggy and Maluma, will present their upcoming collaborations; Juanes will serenade fans with a new song from his soon-to-be-released album; and Karol G will take the stage with Mariah Angeliq for an exclusive TV premiere, to name a few.
The night will also feature special performances including a tribute to the late Regional Mexican singer-songwriter Joan “El Poeta del Pueblo” Sebastian.
The 2021 Latin AMAs, hosted by actress Jacqueline Bracamontes, will air at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 15, from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, via Telemundo and will broadcast simultaneously on Universo and throughout the Americas on Telemundo Internacional.
