Eric Church blazed through a performance of “Bunch of Nothing,” live from the Ryman Auditorium, at the ACM Awards on Sunday night (April 18).
After a glowing intro from the evening’s co-host Keith Urban, Billboard’s recent cover star took the stage in his trademark shades and leather jacket, adorned with an acoustic guitar as he led his band in the new rave-up. Bathed in red-tinted light on the Ryman stage, Church delivered one of the evening’s most riotous performances, befitting of an entertainer of the year nominee for the 2021 ceremonies.
In addition to his entertainer of the year nod, Church is up for two other trophies at this year’s ACM awards — male artist of the year, and event of the year (for Luke Combs collab “Does to Me”). “Bunch of Nothing” is featured on the Heart section, released last Friday (Apr. 16), of the country star’s three-part Heart & Soul project.
The ACM Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by MRC. MRC and Penske Media are co-parent companies of Billboard.
