WME today announced that veteran partnerships executive Dana Jeter has joined the agency as an agent in the music department.
In her new role, the former senior manager of talent and development for ViacomCBS’ MTV Entertainment Group and BET Digital platforms will focus on the hip-hop and R&B space for WME.
Prior to ViacomCBS, Jeter served as a senior producer, brand partnerships at Complex Networks, where she produced talent-driven brand partnerships and activations. She began her career working across the publicity and radio promotions departments at Def Jam, Interscope, JIVE and RCA Records.
In 2013, Jeter helped launch the talent relations division for Revolt TV, the cable network created by Bad Boy Records founder Sean “Diddy” Combs, booking talent for Revolt’s portfolio of events.
“Dana’s talent relations and digital partnerships expertise combined with her unique experience working with world-class platforms and cutting-edge brands uniquely suit her to the nuanced modern media landscape,” reads a joint statement released by WME’s Hip-Hop/R&B co-heads Zach Iser, James Rubin, Kevin Shivers and Caroline Yim. “We are confident she’ll be an invaluable asset to our team.”
