Late night, but make it Gucci. Harry Styles is in the hot seat for the brand’s Beloved campaign and its latest promotional video that was released on Thursday (April 22).
The Gucci ambassador and pop superstar dons a fur coat, low-cut print blouse, wide-legged jeans and the sleek Jackie 1961 bag for a swanky visit to “The Beloved Show,” a fictional late-night television show hosted by none other than James Corden, who also stars in the campaign. While guffawing over a story Corden threatens to tell about finding Styles at the back of a diner late one night, the two serious-faced stars later reconvene off set to replay their hilarious segment before discussing their plans post-taping and heading their separate ways.
Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele is celebrating the designer brand’s centennial birthday this year by spotlighting its Beloved line of handbags on A-lister’s arms. The “Watermelon Sugar” singer, The Late Late Show host, Awkwafina, Serena Williams, Diane Keaton, Sienna Miller and Dakota Johnson are all featured in the Gucci Beloved campaign.
The Harries are all smiles, just like the former One Directioner in the Beloved promo video, with one fan on Twitter even dubbing him and Gucci as “the most iconic duo,” and another beaming about their partnership by calling it “the best thing that ever happened to us.” Here are some of the best fan reactions:
