JAY Z SHARES PLAYLIST OF FAVORITE NAS SONGS: Jay Z has shared a playlist of all of his favorite Nas songs. The 24-track set, titled “Curated by the God Hov: Nas,” kicks off with the first three tracks off Illmatic—”The Genesis,” “N.Y. State of Mind,” and “Life’s a B*tch.” Other songs on the playlist include “The Message,” 'If I Ruled the World, “One Mic,” “Made You Look,” “The World Is Yours,” his collaboration with Kanye West. “We Major,” and “Verbal Intercourse” from Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Jay Z and Nas have teamed up with DJ Khaled on their first collaboration in 13 years “Sorry Not Sorry” which also features James Fauntleroy and background vocals from a surprise appearance from Beyonce. CARDI B MADE DJ KHALED'S NEW ALBUM AT THE LAST MINUTE: Cardi B literally made it just in time to be included on DJ Khaled's new album Khaled Khaled. The rapper revealed in an Instagram Live that she turned in her song “Big Paper” yesterday morning (April 29th). She said, “And yes, I wrote the record. . . . Khaled got the song at 7 am my time. He got it today. . . . I hope you guys like it.”
GUCCI MANE AND KEYSHIA KA'OIR REVEAL THEIR BABY BOY ICE DAVIS: Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka'oir have revealed their baby boy Ice Davis. The four month old is featured on the cover of Gucci Mane's new album Ice Daddy. The baby is dressed in a Gucci onesie and a Gucci beanie, along with a diamond 1017 chain and his name chain.
BIG SEAN AND HIS MOM LAUNCH MENTAL WELLNESS VIDEO SERIES: Big Sean and his mom Myra Anderson have teamed up to launch a new wellness video series. According to Rap Up, the series is being presented by the rapper's foundation. The two will release a new episode every Saturday in May for Mental Health Awareness month. Topics will include sleep, meditation, diet, exercise, and something called “the emotional freedom technique.” The videos will be posted on the Sean Anderson Foundation site, as well as its IGTV channel.
