The finalists for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards will be announced during The List Live livestream at Thursday (April 29).
The show will be hosted by Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall and comedian LaLa Milan, and features appearances by Anitta, Finneas and Maggie Baird, Jay Pharoah, Jon Batiste, Luis Fonsi, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, and many more.
The special guests from the worlds of music, pop culture, fashion, sports and tech will reveal this year’s finalists in their own unique way, while Hall and Milan break down the award categories, key finalist chart achievements and records.
The Billboard Music Awards – The List Live stream begins at 11:00 a.m. ET, which you can watch below.
The livestream will also be available via Billboard’s Facebook and Twitter accounts; the BBMAs’ Facebook, Twitter and YouTube feeds; as well as the social feeds for E! News and NBC.
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards will air live on NBC May 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Billboard Music Awards finalists and winners are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including MRC Data.
This year’s awards are based on the chart period of March 21, 2020, through April 3, 2021. Fan-voted categories this year include top social artist and top collaboration. The 2021 Billboard Music Awards is produced by dick clark productions. Barry Adelman and Robert Deaton are executive producers.
