DRAKE INVESTS IN PLANT BASED CHICKEN COMPANY DARING FOODS: Drake has purchased a stake in Daring Foods — a Los Angeles-based company that specializes in plant based chicken. Drake was among those who contributed to Daring Foods’ series B funding round led by D1 Capital Partners. Daring Foods CEO Ross Mackay said in a statement, “The first wave of plant-based was really focused on taste and texture, but then you had the sacrifice of other elements, like health.”
WENDY WILLIAMS CALLS NICKI MINAJ AN 'ICON AND A LEGEND: During her show yesterday (May 18th), Wendy Williams called Nicki Minaj “an icon and a legend.” She said, “Nicki, to me, is definitely an icon and definitely a legend. She’s done things that these young girls haven’t even touched, even though they have hit music, but Nicki is different than the rest.” Nicki responded, “You are an icon & legend as well @wendyshow.”
MAN ARRESTED OUTSIDE OF RICK ROSS' ESTATE DIES IN POLICE CUSTODY: According to Revolt, Chaka Stewart, the man who was arrested in front of Rick Ross' house last week was found unresponsive in his jail cell this past weekend. Stewart was arrested after leading Clayton Count deputies on a high speed chase that ended near Ross' house. Stewart was found motionless on the ground by a medic and guard who were on duty on Saturday night (May 15th). They attempted CPR and other life saving measures on Stewart but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe no foul play is suspected, but, Stewart’s family does not believe that. Stewart's mom Jacqueline Gordon said that when she spoke to her son on Friday (May 14), he told her that he was being beaten, confined to his cell and not allowed to take a shower. Gordon also claims that deputies told her son that he would never get out of jail. An autopsy is being conducted to find determine Stewart’s cause of death.

He explained, “I was talking to sic fast but y’all know what I meant. Basically that’s all I was saying, I just used his name because he the biggest n***a in the world to me. I just used his name, to let the world know, like, ‘Yo, I got just as many hits as the biggest n***a in the world. I’m doing two hours on stage, for real. MULATTO CHANGES HER RAP NAME TO 'LATTO': Mulatto has officially changed her rap name to Latto. Fans noticed the name change as the name now appears on some streaming platforms. Also, on Monday (May 17th), she tweeted, “LATTO SEASON.”
