Jimmie Allen is returning to his hometown for the inaugural Bettie James Fest, his own music festival in his hometown of Milton, DE on Saturday, August 7th at Hudson Fields. He will be joined by DJ Jazzy Jeff, Neon Union, Hero the Band, Chuck Wicks and Chase Martin. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, May 21st) at 10 a.m. ET at wickedgoodtickets.com.
Like his star-studded project Bettie James, which was released last sumer, the festival is named for Jimmie's late grandmother (Bettie Snead) and late father (James Allen). He said, “I’m hoping their memory lives on through this festival.”
Jimmie recently won the ACM Award for New Male Artist of the Year and performed his current hit single “Freedom Was A Highway” with Brad Paisley at the ACMs in Nashville last month.
