Blake Shelton earns his 17th top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, all of which have started in the tier, as his 12th full-length, Body Language, debuts at No. 3. The set starts on the June 5-dated survey with 24,000 equivalent album units (15,000 in album sales), according to MRC Data.
The album follows Fully Loaded: God’s Country, which became Shelton’s seventh Top Country Albums No. 1 upon its debut in December 2019 (96,000 units).
The new LP’s sophomore single, “Minimum Wage,” pushes 13-11 on the Country Airplay chart (15 million airplay audience impressions, up less than 1%) and jumps 19-12 on Hot Country Songs, logging 4.7 million U.S. streams and 4,000 in sales.
Body Language lead single “Happy Anywhere,” featuring Gwen Stefani, led Country Airplay and hit No. 3 on Hot Country Songs in December.
DEFINITELY TOP 10: Jordan Davis nets his fourth career-opening Country Airplay top 10 as “Almost Maybes” lifts 11-7 (20.3 million, up 8%). His previous top 10, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot,” led last April, becoming his first No. 1.
SPECIAL ‘SATURDAY NIGHT’: Cole Swindell nets his 10th Country Airplay top 10 as “Single Saturday Night” rises 12-10 (19 million, up 12%). It’s his first top 10 since “Love You Too Late,” which reigned in November 2019, becoming his fifth leader.
