Dan + Shay are getting an early start to the weekend on Friday morning (July 16th) as they headline NBC’s Citi Music Series on Today. They'll perform three songs in the 8 a.m. hour, including their new single “Glad You Exist,” and then return in the 9 a.m. hour for an additional performance.
Runaway June lead singer Naomi Cooke tied the knot over the weekend in Maine. She said “I do” to Martin Johnson, the frontman of pop group Boys Like Girls. She shared the news with a post of a couple pictures on social media yesterday (Tuesday, July 13th) writing in part, “We got married!!! Over the weekend A small but might fortress of friends and family held hands in a circle around us as we turned the page into a brand new chapter of life as husband and wife . . .”
The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (NaSHOF) has announced its Class of 2021: Amy Grant, Toby Keith, Rhett Akins, Buddy Cannon and John Scott Sherrill. The five will be inducted into the Hall during the “50/51” Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on November 1st at the Music City Center.
