This week, Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever recurred at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, which previously racked up the fifth-highest sales week of any album this year with 238,000 equivalent album units.
The album’s title track also scored a No. 1 placement — on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs — marking Eilish’s second No. 1 on the tally after “My Future” peaked there last August. That makes the singer just the second woman after Taylor Swift to score multiple leaders on the chart, which launched in 2009.
“Happier Than Ever” isn’t just a U.S. phenomenon. Last week, the track entered Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts at Nos. 6 and 8, respectively. Outside the U.S., “Happier” earned 36.6 million streams in its opening week.
