Yes, the “Rumors” are true that the song soars in at No. 4 on the all-genre tally, securing Lizzo her third top 10 and her first to launch in the region, as well as Cardi B’s 10th top 10.

WE MUTHAF—IN DID IT!!!!” Lizzo wrote on Instagram while sharing a graphic of the Hot 100 chart. “THANK YOU FOR STREAMING #RUMORS — I GOT THE #4 SONG IN THE COUNTRY— IM FINNA EAT SOMETHING DELICIOUS. I LOVE YALL!!!!
“Rumors” concurrently debuts at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts. Lizzo lands her third No. 1 and Cardi B her seventh No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, while the superstars notch their second and sixth respective leaders on Hot Rap Songs.
The Grammy-winning Lizzo also sent an indirect message to her haters on Twitter after she tearfully addressed them in an Instagram Live last week. And on Sunday (Aug. 22), T.I. shared a message of support with her. “Listen, sweetheart, you are beautiful. You are talented,” he insisted. “You are good enough for all the great things that the world has to offer.”
