La Adictiva collects its 11th No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart as “Ya Solo Eres Mi Ex” hits No. 1 on the Dec. 25-dated survey.
The tune rises 2-1 with 8.1 million in audience impressions, up 25%, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Dec. 19, according to MRC Data. Plus, the song becomes the week’s greatest gainer among all the chart’s 40 titles.
Part of La Adictiva’s eponymous seven-track EP, “Ya Sólo Eres” is the only track of the Anval Music-released effort that has entered a Billboard chart. The song was produced by Horacio Palencia, Nathan Rosales and Geovani Cabrera.
“Ya Sólo Eres” sends La Arrolladora Banda El Limón’s “Como Te Olvido” to the runner-up slot on Regional Mexican Airplay after its two-week coronation. It concurrently secures the Sinaloans, previously known as La Adictiva Banda San José de Mesillas, its 11th leader, dating back to its longest and first win, the nine-week champ “Te Amo y Te Amo” in 2011.
“Ya Sólo Eres” also pushes 6-2 on the all-genre Latin Airplay tally, the act’s highest ranking in over a year as “Escondidos” topped the list in January 2020 for one week. In between, the group placed two other top 10s (No. 5-peaking “Lo Que Nunca Será” and “Llamada Perdida,” No. 10 high).
Grupo Firme & Maluma Rise to Top 10 on Hot Latin Songs: Over on the all-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, Grupo Firme benefits from its partnership with Maluma as “Cada Quien” jumps 25-7 after its first full chart tracking week.
The track was released Dec. 8 and entered Hot Latin Songs a week ago from only two days of airplay, sales and streaming activity (Dec. 8-9). On the new chart, it vaults into the top 10 after its first full tracking week — Dec. 10-16.
It’s the Tijuana-based ensemble’s highest ranking on the list, which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data, and its third top 10. Maluma’s career top 10s lift to 14.
“Cada Quién” takes home the greatest gainer airplay and streaming honors of the week.
The track additionally debuts at No. 37 on Latin Airplay (2.9 million in audience impressions, up 91% in the week ending Dec. 19), just underneath Grupo Firme’s “Ya Súperame (En Vivo Desde Culiacán, Sinaloa),” which sits at No. 36 (after it peaked at No. 5 on the Oct. 30-dated list). The double-digit percentage increase also earns the song the week’s largest gain among the 50-title-deep chart.
“Cada Quién” also bows at No. 7 on Latin Streaming Songs with 4.5 million U.S. streams in the week ending Dec. 16 (up 98%).
It’s the highest debut for Grupo Firme, while it’s Maluma’s highest start since his featured role on Shakira’s “Chantaje” also saw a No. 7 bow in November 2016.
