A third suspect was arrested in the murder of rapper Young Dolph. As previously reported, two suspects were arrested in Indiana and Memphis earlier this week and are now in police custody.
Now, according to Hot New Hip Hop, Shundale Barnett was apprehended yesterday (January 12th) in Indiana. He will reportedly face accessory to murder charges. Barnett was apparently in the passenger seat when suspect Justin Johnson was arrested.
Reports say that it appears that Barnett has been aiding Johnson while he was on the run from the authorities in Indiana.
Smith and Johnson have already hired legal representation, who happens to be the lawyer that helped Blac Youngsta avoid prison time in 2017 when he shot at Young Dolph's car. The two have been indicted for Dolph's murder
The U.S. Marshals have announced that Barnett is facing charges for accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder and theft of property between $10,000 and $60,000.
Meanwhile, it is also being reported that one of the suspects usedhis gun to carjack the Mercedes Benz which was used as a getaway car in Dolph's murder. Police say the carjacking happened in Memphis, just one week before Dolph’s murder.
