Pearl Jam‘s Rearviewmirror: Greatest Hits 1991-2003 spends its first week at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums and Top Hard Rock Albums charts dated April 2.
Originally released in 2004, Rearviewmirror reigns following its two-volume vinyl reissue, surging by 1,499% to 21,000 equivalent album units earned in the March 18-24 tracking week, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data.
Of that sum, 16,000 units are from album sales, nearly all vinyl. Rearviewmirror becomes Pearl Jam’s fourth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Vinyl Albums chart, dating to first, Lightning Bolt, in 2011.

With seven Top Hard Rock Albums No. 1s, Pearl Jam breaks out of a five-way tie to take sole possession of the most rulers. Previously, the Eddie Vedder-led band was tied with Five Finger Death Punch, Foo Fighters, Korn and Linkin Park.
