The club's official Instagram page posted a pic of an envelope addressed to Nayvadius “Future” Wilburn. The page captioned it, “@future come pick up your mail Mr. Owner.”
J. COLE TO STEP AWAY FROM CANADIAN BASKETBALL LEAVE TO GO ON TOUR: According to BET, J. Cole is set to step away from the Scarborough Shooting Stars to fulfill his touring obligations. He said in a recent interview, “I was telling the guys in there like, ‘I’m going for these shows, I’m not sure if I’ll be back.' But just in case, I had to let them know how incredible this was. The players, the coaching staff, the organization, the league. It’s a crazy thing when you see it on paper, what’s actually happening. And they made me feel so welcome, really feeling like a part of a team.”
AZEALIA BANKS STORMS OUT OF MIAMI PRIDE PERFORMANCE: Azealia Banks ended up storming off during a performance for Pride month in Miami. During her performance at Wynwood Pride, the rapper tossed her mic and walked off the stage after complaining about the event promoters’ alleged unprofessionalism. She said, “For the last good, like, month and a half, I’ve just been being f—ed with. I’ve been being f—ed around with, you know? Set time’s been move and like, ‘Oh, you’re headlining. No, you’re not headlining. Now you’re not this.’ I’m really not happy to be here.” She added, “I’m so unhappy to be here. But what did the fans ever do? What did you guys ever do, right? I’m trying, y’all. But it’s difficult.” As a result, one fan appeared to throw a drink at her while she was on stage.
RODDY RICH ARRESTED ON GUN CHARGES: According to TMZ, Roddy Rich was arrested on Saturday (June 11th) in Queens, New York hours before he was set to take the stage at the Governors Ball. The rapper and two other men were en route to the festival when police stopped their vehicle at a security checkpoint. After searching the car, police found a loaded firearm, nine rounds of ammo, and a large capacity magazine. Roddy and his two associates were charged with four counts, including criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammo feeding device, and unlawful possession of that device. As a result, Roddy wasn't able to perform at the festival.
