AUTHOR MEGAN BETTENCOURT SPEAKS OUT AFTER IG ACCOUNT USED HER PHOTO TO TROLL NICKI MINAJ: Author Megan Bettencourt took to Twitter to speak out about the Instagram account @KateMiller_7 that used her profile picture. Kate Miller alleged that she was an ex assistant of Nicki Minaj and made several defamatory accusations toward the rapper. She tweeted, “To be clear: I never had a secret life as the ‘ex-assistant’ of @NICKIMINAJ. Someone stole my photo and used it in a fake account. Fraudulent impersonation wasn’t the way I envisioned being mentioned in @Newsweek, but hey, scammers gonna scam. Thank you to everyone who alerted me to my photo being stolen and used by a fake account making accusations against @NICKIMINAJ. Lock down your privacy settings, everyone!” Nicki responded, “Ok you know TF what? Well hey, if you ever need a job hit me up. I feel bad but hey, cheers to Newsweek! Always a silver lining i-i guess?” In other news, according to TMZ, Charles Polevich, the hit and run driver who killed her father has been sentenced to one year in jail. Polevich's license will be suspended for six months and Polevich will have to pay a $5,000 fine.
MYSTIKAL DENIED BOND IN RAPE CASE: Mystikal has been denied bond following his arrest over the weekend after being accused of rape and more. As previously reported, the rapper was arrested in Louisiana on Sunday (July 31st) and charged with multiple felonies including first-degree rape, domestic abuse battery, strangulation and robbery. According to WBRZ News, Mystikal's attorney Roy Maughan released a statement, saying, “We’re extremely disappointed that the judge decided he needed to hold Mr. Tyler without bond.”
RICK ROSS SAYS HE WAS DENIED ENTRY INTO BUCKINGHAM PALACE: Rick Ross has revealed that he was denied entry into Buckingham Palace during his recent trip to the UK. He wrote via Instagram, “Alright, y’all saw me go to Buckingham Palace. I pulled the homie to the side and told him who I was—of course the biggest boss. And, uh, for one of the fist times in a long time that didn’t get me in. I didn’t get through the gates. I didn’t get to sit at the table. But what he did do was refer me to a spot, and he said they’ll be waiting on me. And he said I can pick the lobster that I wanted to eat. So, I forgave him.”
