Feid celebrates his first top 10 success on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart as his latest set, Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo: Te Pirateamos el Album rallies 25-8 on the Oct. 1 dated ranking.
The 15-track set, which translates into Happy Birthday, Ferxxo: We Leaked The Album, was slated to drop later this year but was released earlier (Sept. 14) due to it being leaked. The Colombian took to Instagram to announce the set’s earlier release and dropped it the following day — accompanied by cover art (designed by his sister) that acknowledged the leak.
Happy Birthday, Ferxxo was officially released Sept. 14 via Universal Music Latino/UMLE. It arrived at No. 25 on the Sept. 24-dated survey with only two days of activity, which generated 3,000 equivalent album units in its opening week. The album moves to the top 10 on Top Latin Albums in its second week with 8,000 units after its first full tracking period which ends in the week Sept. 22, according to Luminate.
On the multi-metric Top Latin Albums chart as measured in equivalent album units, each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.
Happy Birthday’s opening sum derives mostly from streaming-equivalent album units. That equals to 10.46 million official on-demand streams of the album’s songs.
Happy Birthday follows Feid’s No. 29-peaking Inter Shibuya: La Mafia (Jan. 1-dated list). Previously he scored two other entries, including Ferxxo: Vol. 1 M.O.R. which peaked at No. 27, his highest ranked title until now.
Elsewhere, Happy Birthday concurrently secures Feid his first top 10 on Latin Rhythm Albums, as the set lifts 14-5.
In addition to his new chart achievements, Happy Birthday earns Feid his first entry on the all-genre Billboard 200 tally with a No. 188 start.
Further, Happy was preceded by one entry on the all-metric Hot Latin Songs chart: the No. 42 high “Normal,” Feid’s first entry as a soloist, unaccompanied by any other act, among a collection of six total entries.
