Lainey Wilson has released her cover of The Rolling Stones‘ classic song, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” She commented through a press release: “To have the opportunity to record one of their tracks was an incredible honor for me.”
The song is the latest preview from Country music's album tribute to the super group’s 60 year history. Other contributors include Eric Church with “Gimme Shelter,” Little Big Town recorded “Wild Horses,” “Honky Tonk Women” by Brooks & Dunn, and “Tumblin’ Dice” by Elle King. There are 14 songs in all.
Stoned Cold Country is set for release on March 17.
