For those wondering where Ice Spice was on the XXL Freshman 2023 list, sources say it all comes down to her schedule. According to TMZ, sources say that the Bronx rapper had to decline a spot on the list after she started getting booked for festivals and feature requests and she wasn't able to fulfill the freshman requirements.
Ice Spice is currently on the cover of Teen Vogue and she is scheduled for Wireless Fest in the UK, Broccoli City Fest in D.C, Blockfest in Finland, and Made in America in Philly this summer.
The 2023 XXL Freshman list includes Lola Brooke, Finesse2Tymes, Rob49, and GloRilla.
