YOUNG THUG'S LAWYER FILES MOTION TO DISMISS RICO CHARGES FOR ALL CO DEFENDANTS BASED ON STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS: According to XXL, Young Thug's lawyer has filed a motion seeking a dismissal of RICO charges for all the YSL co-defendants based on statute of limitations. In his motion, the rapper's attorney argues that any accusations that occurred over five years before the arrest date are beyond the statute of limitations for a RICO charge and must be expunged from the indictment. Young Thug and his attorney are seeking a hearing on the matter to strike the RICO statute from the indictment.
KODAK BLACK BOOKED AT A FLORIDA JAIL: According to TMZ, Kodak Black was booked at a Florida jail yesterday (June 26th) and bonded out later for $250k. According to his lawyer Bradford Cohen, the rapper was supposed to check in with authorities and take mandatory uring tests, but he failed to check in and he went to court yesterday (June 26th) over the issue. Kodak's lawyer says he argued in court to get rid of the pretrial supervision and the judge agreed but also ended up increasing his bond from $75,000 to $250,000. And this is why Kodak had to go through the booking process again at the Broward County jail.
