Following the death of her husband towards the end of February, Kellie Pickler made a public statement in her recovery from his suicide. She told Billboard that his advice has been helpful as when dealing with grief: “One of the most beautiful lessons my husband taught me was in a moment of a crisis, if you don’t know what to do, ‘Do nothing, just be still.” She also announced her plans for a small memorial in his honor come the fall.
