The track ended up reaching the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and also rose to the top of the Canadian country music top singles. The song describes the comfort of his old love knowing all his ugly secrets and deepest insecurities while his new relationship only sings his praises because she doesn’t know his dark side.
