Halestorm has decamped from its home base of Nashville to Savannah, Ga., where the group has rented a house and started working on songs for its sixth studio album. Lzzy Hale tells us that the quartet is coming in with ideas but no real sense of a game plan, yet: ["Um It's a little up in the air, but this is the exciting time, I feel like. This is right before, like the grind begins, where we're trying to figure out what we're gonna chase next and where you're gonna go. I'm looking at it with excitement. I also, I can't wait to get to the other side where I have, like, 10 songs and, like, 'These are the ones!'"] SOUNDCUE :22 (OC :these are the ones)
The new album will be the follow-up to Halestorm's "Back From the Dead," which came out during May of 2022 and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart.
It also spawned the No. 1 Mainstream Rock chart singles "Back From the Dead" and "The Steeple."
Halestorm begins a European leg of its Back From the Dead Dour on Nov. 2 in Frankfurt, German, with shows running through Dec. 9 in London.
