Saturday Night Live will be back for its 49th season on NBC as of October 14th. Former castmember Pete Davidson, who was set to make his hosting debut in May before the show went dark due to the writer's strike, will host the premiere. Ice Spice is the musical guest, marking her debut on the show. Bad Bunny will be the musical guest — and host for the first time — the following week on October 21st. He made his first appearance on SNL back in April of 2020 during an at-home pandemic episode. SNL's entire cast is returning for the new season along with one new featured player, Chloe Troast. Last weekend, SNL re-ran its Travis Kelce-hosted episode from March, capitalizing on the hoopla around his relationship with Taylor Swift.
