BTS’ Jimin just debuted his first Dior campaign since becoming a global ambassador for the luxury fashion brand. The K-pop star took to Instagram on Thursday (Oct. 12) to share photos from the Dior Men Spring 2024 campaign.
The campaign dropped Tuesday and was photographed by Alasdair McLellan, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Jimin suits up in a range of sweaters, slacks and suits for the photo campaign, which includes photos of him in a sweater vest paired with a striped shirt and a navy blue suit accessorized with a Dior pen and sky blue neck scarf. Other photos showcase Jimin in a two-piece suit and an argyle print, V-neck sweater.
The Dior campaign debuted just in time for Jimin’s 28th birthday on Friday, Oct. 13. Jimin was named Dior global ambassador in January and sat front row at Dior’s Fall-Winter 2023 fashion show in Paris alongside fellow BTS member J-Hope. “So thrilled to start a journey with @Dior,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
In addition to debuting the Dior campaign, Jimin graces the cover of Elle Korea’s 31st anniversary issue. Jimin shot three covers for the magazine including a shot of him looking stylish in a Maison Margela Reconstructed Knit Vest ($945).
BTS have expanded into the fashion world with Jimin, J-Hope and Suga landing global ambassadorships with major fashion companies such as Dior, Tiffany & Co., Valentino and Louis Vuitton. As a collective, BTS has inked deals with brands like LEGO, Casetify, Nordstrom and Samsung.
BTS celebrated its 10th anniversary in July and debuted in campaigns for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 phones in August. And there’s more goodies for BTS Army fans to grab for the holidays as Funko will release a new batch of BTS Funko Pop! vinyls on November 29 (pre-order here).
