50 Cent won’t be criminally-charged over the August concert incident where he threw a microphone that struck a woman in the face. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office is keeping the case open for a year but “at this time, no criminal charges have been filed against Mr. Jackson,” according to a statement. If the rapper stays out of trouble with the police for that year, the case will be dropped. The incident in question took place happened during 50 Cent’s “The Final Lap Tour” stop at Crypto.Com Arena. 50 Cent appeared frustrated with several malfunctioning microphones before throwing them into the crowd, where one allegedly hit Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain, causing visible injuries to her head and face. She filed a police report afterwards, but the district attorney declined to file a battery charge.
