BRAD PAISLEY SAYS HE MAY COLLABORATE WITH POST MALONE ON NEXT ALBUM: Brad Paisley revealed on Monday’s (December 5th) episode of The Tonight Show that his next album may feature a collaboration with Post Malone. The 51-year-old country star told host Jimmy Fallon that he worked with Posty “a couple nights” on the forthcoming Son of the Mountains and added, “He’s amazing. I love him. He’s the greatest guy and he loves country music. We’ll see if we do something. You never know.”
GARTH BROOKS INVITED SCOTTY McCREERY TO JOIN THE OPRY: Garth Brooks invited Scotty McCreery to become a member of the Grand Old Opry Monday (December 4th) night. The American Idol alum was onstage atduring his spotlight artist performance at the Opry Country Christmas show when Brooks appeared with a wrapped gift and an invite “to be the newest member of the Opry.” McCreery wrote on Instagram Tuesday (December 5th), “Last night was one of the greatest nights of my life. I wish I could tell that 10 year old boy singing The Dance on the edge of his bed at 2 in the morning, that one day @garthbrooks would invite him to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry! Still doesn’t feel real.”
