Amazon Prime Video is set to produce a series based on Andy Lane’s Young Sherlock Holmes novels, with Hero Fiennes Tiffin in the lead role. Guy Ritchie will direct and executive produce the eight-episode series, marking a reunion with Tiffin after they recently worked together on the feature The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. It’s also a return to the world of Sherlock Holmes for Ritchie, who previously directed two feature film adaptations about the iconic detective starring Robert Downey Jr. The upcoming new series will be an action-packed origin story, delving into a murder mystery at Oxford University.
