Sphere Las Vegas has announced that they have rescinded an indefinite ban that was issued to the pot smoking Phish fan who posted videos of himself ripping bong hits at their recent show. Sphere said that the initial statement barring the offending concertgoer from all MSG Entertainment properties was done in error, due to “a breakdown in our process.” The venue did clarify that lighting up like that at a show violates both venue policy and local law. “This customer is not banned from our properties,” said a statement from a Sphere Entertainment spokesperson issued on Saturday. “However, it is still against our policies, which are in accordance with local laws, to smoke, bring glassware into our venues, and disrupt other fans’ enjoyment of the event.” (Variety)
