Post Malone and Jelly Roll kicked off their BIG ASS Stadium tour on Tuesday night (April 29) with a three-and-a-half hour extravaganza at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT that featured both men playing their hits and fan favorites as well as Jelly jumping up on stage for a duet with Posty.
Coming off a star-studded Coachella set for Malone and an equally cameo-packed headline spot for Jelly at Stagecoach, both men lit up the stage on night one, with Jelly giving the people what they wanted with runs through such hits as “Liar,” “Son of a Sinner,” “I Am Not Okay” and “Save Me,” among others.
Malone’s 25-song set also featured classics including “Wow,” “Better Now,” “Circles,” “Pour Me a Drink” and “Rock Star,” as well as the Jelly duet “Losers,” and a team-up with opening act Sierra Ferrell on his F-1 Trillion: Long Bed track “Never Love You Again.”
The BIG ASS tour will move on to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday (May 3) and hit San Antonio and Arlington, TX, Atlanta, St. Louis, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Hershey and Pittsburgh, PA, Miami, Orlando, Denver, L.A. and Portland before winding down on July 1 in San Francisco.
