Nicki Minaj made an Election Day appearance at a polling station in Derry, N.H., on Tuesday (Nov. 3). The rapper didn’t make any public statements during her police escort around Pinkerton Academy, but she did briefly interact with voters.
“Welcome to New Hampshire, Nicki. You look beautiful,” an onlooker shouted, according to NBC News. “Thank you,” Minaj replied.
Another woman thanked the Queens rapper — who lives in the Los Angeles area — for her loyalty to the president. “Thank you for touring with the president. I was most impressed,” a voter said. Minaj shook the fan’s hand and took photos with others at the polling site. “My pleasure,” Minaj can be heard saying in a clip shared by NBC News.
According to the outlet, Minaj appeared around 5:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday and left in an unmarked van with a police escort.
Though the rapper has been supporting Republicans, Democrat Chris Pappas won the Senate seat over Republican John Sununu, while Dems Stefany Shaheen and Maggie Goodlander (an incumbent) took the House seats. However, Republican Kelly Ayotte has won reelection for governor.
The 43-year-old hasn’t been shy about her adoration for Donald Trump and aligning with the Republican Party throughout 2026. Ahead of midterms, Minaj flew with Trump on Air Force One to a rally in Michigan in an effort to mobilize voters.
“President Trump, it is an honor to stand with you every single time,” Minaj said at the Port Huron rally on Oct. 25. “And I will continue to support you forever and ever. If you run again, I will support you again.”
Trump is currently without a White House press secretary, and the rapper’s name has been floated to fill the role. “That’s a good idea. I think I’ll have to think about that. I’m gonna think about that,” Trump said of the idea of Minaj joining his team during a late October appearance on The Benny Show.
Minaj criticized New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Oct. 28, ahead of the politician’s reelection bid. “Kathy Hochul is an evil woman,” the rapper wrote on X. “The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”
Hochul won reelection Tuesday after defeating Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman by about 20 points on Tuesday, ABC News reported.
