A woman that accused Snoop Dogg of sexual assault has refiled her lawsuit against the rap icon, three months after the case was initially dismissed. According to Rolling Stone, the woman — filed the original suit back in February, claiming that Snoop forced her to perform oral sex on him at his recording studio back in 2013.
The woman, who is only identified as Jane Doe, has added a defamation claiming, saying that Snoop Dogg used social media to make veiled threats towards her after private mediation between the two parties didn't go too well.
The suit cites a post from Snoop Dogg's IG captioned, “Gold digger season is here be careful Nefews keep ya guards up.” It also says that Snoop threatened to sue Jane Doe’s legal representatives for malicious prosecution.
In addition, the newly-refiled lawsuit maintains that Snoop ordered one of his associates to out Jane Doe in a statement in order to intimidate her into dropping the initial suit. That suit was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiff without prejudice, allowing it to be refiled at a later date.
Snoop Dogg's lawyer has denied the 2013 incident, calling the suit a “shakedown scheme.”
