Harry Styles announced on Tuesday (Dec. 15) that the February-March 2021 tour dates for his U.K. and European leg have been postponed until further notice.
The pan-European jaunt of his Love on Tour was scheduled to begin on its new date of Feb. 12, 2021, in Bologna, Italy, and wrap on March 30 in Moscow with King Princess as his special guest performer. He first pushed back the dates from April-June 2020 to early 2021 because of the global coronavirus pandemic, just days after the U.K.’s prime minster Boris Johnson announced a nationwide lockdown.
“Everyone’s health and safety remains our top priority, which is why I unfortunately have to postpone my UK and European shows planned for Feb/March 2021 until further notice,” Styles tweeted. “I really hope to play these shows and will have news for you in the new year on when they will take place. I can’t wait to see you all on the road as soon as it’s safe to do so. Treat people with kindness.”
The Love on Tour supports his Billboard 200 chart-topping sophomore solo album Fine Line, which Styles released on Dec. 13, 2019. To commemorate its one-year anniversary, the former One Direction star penned a message of appreciation for his fans alongside a throwback shot from his album release show in Los Angeles, where he’s dressed in his David Bowie-esque ensemble from the album’s artwork.
“I couldn’t be more grateful for you all continually finding new ways to change my life. Thank you for listening, and for everything else. I always love you, but especially today. H,” the “Golden” singer wrote.
