Little Mix can sing a “Sweet Melody” for us all year long, because their hit came in as the No. 1 pick in our favorite songs of 2020 poll!
Fans voted in a poll published earlier this month on Billboard, choosing the UK girl group’s song from their 2020 album Confetti as their all-time favorite song to be released this year with 38.55% of the vote.
Coming in second was BTS’ Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash hit “Dynamite,” with 21.07% of the vote. The boy band’s song became their first-ever No. 1 hit on the all-genre tally, which was later followed up by “Life Goes On” from the same album Be and their remix of “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” by Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo.
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s Hot 100 No. 1 splash hit “Rain On Me” rounds out fans’ top three picks by coming in third place with 5.39% of the vote. (Their collaboration from Gaga’s album Chromatica also came in as Billboard staffers’ No. 1 song of 2020.)
Meanwhile, Jesy Nelson announced her official departure from Little Mix due to mental health reasons, according to a statement she issued on Instagram earlier in December.
