Dr. Dre is back on his grind. The producer and Beats co-founder was photographed in a recording studio this weekend, just one day after returning home after his recent hospitalization for a reported brain aneurysm.
Dre’s attorney, Peter Paterno, confirmed his return home on Saturday (Jan. 16), according to the Associated Press.
Paterno did not provide any further details about the treatment that the 55-year-old music mogul received at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after the Jan. 4 medical incident.
Aftermath producer Focus posted a photo of himself in the studio with a bearded Dre, who is surrounded by a half dozen others in the snap captioned, “My big Bro is Super Good!!! We Working…” Dre, dressed all in black, is staring straight at the camera in the snap, where he’s surrounded by Fred Wreck, The D.O.C., producers Izaiah Smith, Phonix Beats, engineers Julio Ulloa and Zoom Air, musician Blu2th, DJ Ki and serval more, some of whom posted their own versions of the celebratory studio snap.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes,” Dre said in a statement on Jan. 5. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
“He’s resting comfortably,” Dre’s rep had told Billboard at the time.
And on Friday (Jan. 15), Ice T posted an update: “Just FaceTimed with @drdre,” he wrote on Twitter. “He just made it home. Safe and looking good.”
