Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., has signed a new partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) to book the property’s Premier Theater.
“The team at DWP is second to none when it comes to understanding the nuances of booking entertainment for casinos, and we are very excited to work with this dedicated team,” said Christian Printup, vp of entertainment at Foxwoods, in a statement. “Foxwoods Resort Casino has provided guests with world-class entertainment for over 30 years, and I look forward to working with the DWP team to not only continue that tradition but to take things to the next level.”
Music industry veteran Danny Wimmer has been producing festivals for over three decades. In 2011, he formed Danny Wimmer Presents, which has grown to be the largest independent festival producer in the country, with 14 annual festivals across 13 U.S. cities including Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville, Ky., and the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, Calif.

DWP has already confirmed several acts set to perform at the Premier Theater, most notably Sessanta, which will see band members from Puscifer, A Perfect Circle and Primus join forces on Apr. 5.
Foxwoods’ Great Cedar Showroom will continue to be programmed by Foxwoods.
