Dolly Parton’s empire of baked goods, cookbooks, cookware, wine, makeup and fragrances now includes a jewelry line. The country music icon debuted a capsule collection in collaboration with Kendra Scott jewelry on Wednesday (Nov. 13).
Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott, a collection of dazzling rings, necklaces and earrings, was inspired by “Love Is Like a Butterfly,” the title track from Parton’s 14th studio album, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in September. Released in 1974, “Love is Like a Butterfly” spent a week at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs charts and became her third, consecutive single to top the country charts.
Parton’s 10-piece jewelry collection retails for $70 and up, although most pieces are under $100 apart from the Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott 1974 Necklace ($350), convertible gold statement earrings ($175) and a gold statement wrap necklace ($250). Featured in a light pink iridescent abalone and ivory mother-of-pearl, the 1974 necklace is available in limited supply (only 1,974 necklaces were released).
